The care of milk teeth begins with their first growings. Unfortunately, even the most attentive parents, who take special care of their child’s health, also can face problems with baby teeth. Darkening and the development of caries – one of the most popular reasons for going to the dental clinic.

There is an opinion, dangerous in its fallacy, that the milk teeth are better not to treat because they will fall out. Pediatric dentists around the world are trying to reach out to parents with the sole purpose – to make everyone aware that the health of deciduous teeth largely determines the future state of permanent teeth.

Causes of caries of milk teeth

One of the most popular opinions is that tooth decay is caused by excessive intake of sweets by babies. Enough to impose restrictions on candy, gingerbread and health will return to normal. The effect of carbohydrates is just one of many reasons.

But the development of this process can be due to these reasons:

1. Insufficient care – plaque becomes a favorable environment for the formation and reproduction of pathogenic environment;

2. The use of other cutlery – bacteria can safely “migrate” from family and friends;

3. Hereditary predisposition – in some cases, ideal care and a balanced diet can not change genetics;

4. Bad habits – mothers who can not deny themselves the pleasure of smoking a cigarette during pregnancy should be aware that the problems will affect the baby’s teeth.

The location and degree of damage indicate the type and stage of caries

Spots often occur on the front of teeth, without causing discomfort or pain. This problem easy solves by therapeutic methods.

The surface appearance by darkening, which provokes sensitivity to sour, salty or sweet. Moderate caries affect the dentin, causing severe pain. At this stage, it is already necessary to fill children’s teeth.

Deep caries, as the final stage, damages almost all dentin. The child complains of severe, persistent pain. Bad breath appears. The treatment procedure differs in duration, pain, and repeated visits to a specialist.

Do you need to fill baby teeth?

The filling of a baby tooth performing by a pediatric dentist, who separates the affected areas from a healthy molar, treats the canals and restores the geometry (if necessary). Dental fillings in children are important for:

prevention of disorders – deciduous teeth involve the formation of occlusion, as well as the development of the jaw. Premature removal will lead to improper growth of indigenous counterparts;

prevention of destruction of permanent teeth – the infection can penetrate not only into the root of the milk molar but go further into the bone tissue, infecting the root teeth in the early stages;

maintaining the beauty and confidence of the baby – a beautiful smile is important for everyone, regardless of age.

In the process of filling children’s teeth, specialists use only modern materials. To bring the oral cavity to a normal state, are used reflective composites.

Recommendations for parents to care for fillings baby’s teeth

Fill deciduous teeth need care. They must be cleaned at least twice a day. After eating, it is desirable to rinse, removing leftover food.

In addition, in the first days after fillings teeth, it is better to refrain from cold and hot drinks. In case of unpleasant sensations, consult a doctor immediately.

The debut visit to the dentist is a signal that the teeth need more attention. The dentist can advise you on the appropriate toothpaste and teach you how to properly organize hygienic measures so that the healthy teeth remain healthy and the filling ones are not injured.

After installing the filling, it would be ideal to come for a preventive examination every three months.

Putting fillings on baby teeth will help not only maintain the health and well-being of your child but also prevent future problems with permanent teeth. Timely referral to the dentist helps eliminate the problem quickly and painlessly.

Doctors say that all diseases are from the nerves. And this is true, and also from sick teeth. Due to oral infections caused by bad teeth, pathogens spread throughout the body and not only reduce our immunity but also affect our organs and organ systems.

Why is it so important to care for your mouth, gums, and teeth?

Disease-causing bacteria, accumulation of dental plaque, irregular care of teeth and oral cavity cause a variety of diseases, and the most insidious of them are caries and periodontitis.

Why does tooth decay occur?

Dental caries are formed with improper, insufficient care of the oral cavity and develops as a result of the vital activity of bacteria.

Periodontitis is an inflammation of the tissue surrounding the tooth – the gums. This is a very insidious disease that causes tooth loss.

But caries and periodontitis can be prevented if you form the habit of brushing your teeth twice a day, and twice a year to do professional hygiene at the dentist.

And besides, you will protect your body from diseases of the whole body caused by sick teeth. Let’s deal with them in more detail.

Why do sick teeth cause diseases of the gastrointestinal tract?

The gastrointestinal tract is where bacteria, if present, enter from the mouth. Further, through the blood through the vessels and capillaries, microbes circulate throughout the body and enter other organs.

As a result, it can provoke serious diseases of the gastrointestinal tract.

How dental problems can affect heart disease?

If there is a disease or inflammation in the oral cavity, then the infection will quickly spread throughout the body and can provoke diseases of the organs of the circulatory system.

According to new research by American scientists, there is a direct link between the integrity of dentition is associated with heart health.

The study was carried out on 61 thousand men and women aged 45 to 69 years. It turned out that those patients who could not save even 2-3 teeth have a 23% higher risk of developing heart disease compared to patients whose teeth were completely healthy.

These studies allowed scientists and doctors to conclude that – loss of teeth leads to heart pathologies and diseases of the cardiovascular system. The reason lies in the risk of developing inflammatory processes in the blood vessels.

Sick teeth provoke the onset of periodontitis and Alzheimer’s disease

German scientists have found that bad teeth provoke the onset of Alzheimer’s disease. It is the bacteria that cause periodontitis that accelerates the development of dementia.

You need to remember the rule: healthy teeth are clean teeth. Thus we need to be more responsive to the rules of hygiene.

Sick teeth can cause diabetes

Inflammatory processes in the oral cavity affect the increase in blood sugar. If periodontitis and caries are not treated, then they can provoke the development and intensification of diabetes mellitus.

It is important to remember that a person’s health is in his own hands. Do not neglect the basic rules of oral hygiene and underestimate the professional full cleaning at the dentist.

Home and professional care and dental hygiene should become the culture of each individual and the country as a whole, then there will be no need to spend efforts on the global treatment of the body. It is no secret that it is always better to prevent disease than to cure.

The risk of osteoporosis and more depends on the health of the teeth and oral cavity

Lack of magnesium, potassium, and other trace elements in the body, as well as the risk of breaking an arm or leg from the slightest fall. Is directly related to the condition of the teeth.

Scientists have found that both age-related changes in the mouth and teeth in old age and insufficient care at a younger age are associated with a lack of many trace elements. This affects the condition of the bones, making them more fragile. The results of the study are published by Nutrients.

Effect on your teeth a lack of many trace elements:

Calcium not only makes our bones and teeth strong. Also, this trace element helps cells divide, is responsible for blood clotting, the passage of nerve impulses. Calcium-rich dairy foods, eggs, fish, nuts, and green vegetables.

Potassium is needing no less, it is responsible for muscle strength, cardiovascular and nervous systems.

Without magnesium, the heart and blood vessels, and muscles will also suffer, this element helps us to be energetic. Potassium and magnesium are in bananas, white beans, avocados, melons, green apples, seeds and nuts, pumpkins, seafood.

But for all these important trace elements for our health to be assimilated, the teeth and oral cavity must be healthy.

So don’t forget:

Brush your teeth 2 times a day, use dental floss.

Visit the dentist ideally 2 times a year, but at least annually.

Treat caries on time, do not start inflammatory processes in the oral cavity, if any.

Scientists also found that a deficiency of phosphorus, calcium, magnesium, potassium, and other trace elements important for bone health can harm your teeth. Therefore, timely treatment of caries, cracks in the teeth, inflammatory processes in the gums and oral cavity in general – is the prevention of osteoporosis and micronutrient deficiency.

Saliva is necessary for the normal functioning of the oral cavity, as it keeps all its tissues moist and helps cleanse the mouth. So, if you notice that you have thick saliva, it is probably due to a certain imbalance.

First, it is important to know that the salivary glands produce saliva. In the case of changes in these glands, various morphological changes in saliva occur, possibly due to chemotherapy and radiation. The saliva becomes sticky and viscous, and therefore thicker.

In addition to general discomfort, it can also lead to problems speaking, swallowing, and even breathing.

Causes of thick saliva

Thick saliva can be caused by various disorders, such as:

arterial hypertension

diabetes

kidney problems

stones or other obstructions in the salivary ducts

cancer

Parkinson’s disease

oral infections

It can also be the result of dry mouth or irritation due to hormonal changes, especially in women over 40 years.

Another very common cause is side effects that result from chemotherapy, antihistamines, antidepressants, diuretics, or analgesics.

What problems can this cause?

When saliva is too thick, it affects swallowing. You eventually begin to seem to suck rather than swallow because of the reduced lubrication in your mouth. Over time, this can lead to pulmonary aspiration.

Also, dryness and viscosity in the mouth lead to bad breath and difficulty swallowing, chewing, and talking.

There is also an increase in caries and gum disease. Also, the tongue becomes dry. This not only changes your sense of taste but also creates cracks in it. Mouth ulcers and chapped lips are also very common.

Diagnosis

There is a method of estimating saliva flow called Sialometry. It specifically estimates the amount of saliva. Doctors can also do a salivary gland biopsy to analyze and determine if there are any pathological problems.

Treatment

Treatment of damaged salivary glands is not performed. However, there are some tips for thinning saliva:

Increase the amount of water to dilute the saliva.

Moisten food with sauces, broths, etc.

Use a room humidifier.

Sleep with your head in an elevated position.

Rinse your throat.

Brush your teeth often.

Chew gum often.

Limit alcohol and tobacco use.

Reduce the consumption of spicy foods.

Dental procedures for thick saliva

It is also important to keep in mind any pre-existing illnesses or medications that the person is taking, as well as any psychological factors.

In some cases, your doctor may recommend saliva stimulants or saliva substitutes such as xylitol, aloe vera, or fluoride.

Finally, oral hygiene is very important. So make it a habit to clean your mouth thoroughly with a brush and toothpaste.

You may also want to use mouthwashes and gels, as they are very helpful for patients with this problem.

Did you know that coconut oil is an ideal ingredient for rinsing and brushing teeth, as well as for improving oral health?

Coconut oil is an increasingly popular superfood due to its incredible nutritional value. More and more ways to use it are constantly being discovered. Today we want to talk about how you can use coconut oil to improve oral health.

Coconut oil to improve oral health

This oil is essential for a balanced diet. In addition to being fat, this oil is very effective when it comes to weight loss because it speeds up metabolism.

You should know that it also has many other uses. This oil is a great remedy for skin, mouth, and hair problems.

It is also great for improving oral health due to the following therapeutic properties:

coconut oil fights dental infections caused by bacteria due to the content of lauric acid

it whitens tooth enamel without damaging it and prevents the formation of plaque

this oil can reduce inflammation and bleeding gums

We recommend choosing coconut oil for this natural treatment, as it is best suited to alleviate oral health problems. The oil becomes solid at temperatures below 24°C but returns to the liquid after coming into contact with body heat.

An oral health remedy

The treatment we offer today is based on two steps. You should consistently perform the procedure daily to get the best results and maintain good oral health:

In the morning: use an oil-like mouthwash.

In the evening: brush with oil like toothpaste.

How to use this home remedy to improve oral health

1. Daily rinsing

Daily rinsing with coconut oil is the oldest method of improving the health of the mouth and the entire digestive system. We suggest using cold-pressed coconut oil due to its antibacterial properties.

Rinsing with coconut oil helps to deeply cleanse the mouth and helps balance the digestive tract. It effectively removes bacteria and toxins without changing the delicate pH of the mouth.

You will also eliminate tartar, improve breathing, and reduce gingivitis.

How to do it?

Before breakfast, take one tablespoon of coconut oil (15 ml) in your mouth.

Make sure the oil is of the highest quality.

Do not gargle to prevent oil from getting into the throat.

Try rinsing for about 20 seconds. During this time, you will notice that the dense texture of the oil becomes lighter and more watery, which is a good sign.

Spit out the oil and then brush your teeth thoroughly using regular toothpaste.

We recommend waiting at least another 15 minutes before breakfast and always start with a glass of water to avoid toxins from the body.

Repeat the procedure every morning.

2. Natural toothpaste

To keep your mouth healthy and resistant to dental infections, we suggest choosing only natural toothpaste options. This will help you avoid sulfates, fluoride, and other additives that can affect your health and change the pH of your saliva.

Some effective natural alternatives include vegetable and essential oils, clay, activated carbon, and more.

Always brush your teeth after each main meal.

To enhance regular brushing, replace toothpaste with coconut oil at least once a day.

Coconut oil can be an additional toothpaste to strengthen the natural defenses of the oral cavity.

The topic of health concerns each of us. So, today we will talk about daily habits that harm the health of our teeth.

Reflexive clenching of teeth at night

More than 90% of humans rub their teeth at night. The disease has a humorous name – “businessman’s disease”, which she received in 2008 in the UK. British dentists have noticed that the number of people rubbing their teeth at night has increased significantly and attributed this to the crisis in the country.

And they called it “businessman’s illness” because when a businessman is asleep, only half of his head is resting, and the other is thinking about how to give loans, pay salaries, and so on. That is, the “businessman’s disease” (bruxism) is in those people whose lives are filled with stress. This stress is not necessarily caused by business, it can be learning, love, and any life problems.

Compression of teeth and, accordingly, their friction is a process that a person cannot control, it is the responsibility of the central nervous system.

But because teeth wear out slowly and this becomes noticeable only after 3-5 years. Teeth can be rubbed in half or worse – to the gums.

By the way, bruxism with teeth can happen not only at night. Athletes often grit their teeth when they lift a barbell or do other strength exercises. In such cases, it is recommended to wear a kappa not only at night but also during training.

A dental filling is an excellent diagnostic sign of bruxism. If you often visit the dentist to repair another broken filling, likely, the fillings can not withstand the load of bruxism. Therefore, before putting another seal, consult a doctor about bruxism.

Untimely removal of wisdom teeth

Earlier, 50% of dentists said that wisdom teeth do not need to be removed, and the other 50% said that removal is necessary and the sooner the better. Now the percentage has changed significantly, and more and more doctors say that wisdom teeth need to be removed, because there is no place in the dentition for them.

Improper removal of wisdom teeth can lead to many diseases and problems. The wisdom tooth, which stands sideways, interferes with the bite. It leads to crunch in the joints and abrasion of the teeth (bruxism). Also, caries are formed at the point of contact of the eighth and seventh teeth, because it is difficult to clean the dirt from there, and it is almost impossible to brush with a toothbrush.

Periodontists and hygienists also insist on the removal of wisdom teeth.

Neglect of visits to the dentist

If you do not brush your teeth at least twice a day and do not visit the dentist-hygienist twice a year, then your teeth will be sick, and very soon you will have to pay for treatment.

More pleasant to go for a procedure for healthy people – professional hygiene than to spend money on dental implants. It is a pity that people do not know such a simple rule that clean teeth do not hurt. And dentists do not always convey this truth to their patients.

Only the dentist, not the sales consultant, should choose a toothbrush and toothpaste for you. After all, if you choose a brush and toothpaste blindly, you will further harm your health. For example, if you have tooth decay, then you need a paste with ingredients that slow down the development of tooth decay. If you have periodontitis, then – with anti-inflammatory components. And if both periodontitis and caries, the dentist will recommend a paste to prevent two diseases.

Dental caries is formed as a result of damage to tooth enamel. By its nature, caries is serious permanent damage to the surface of the teeth, which manifests itself in the form of dark spots on tooth enamel and even small holes in the teeth.

This disease is very unpleasant, so experts strongly recommend that you always take care of oral hygiene and take effective measures in a timely manner, which will help not only to prevent damage to teeth but also to accelerate the process of caries treatment.

Caries occurs when bacteria that live in the mouth begin to secrete excessive amounts of acid. These bacteria settle on tooth enamel along with small pieces of food or get into the mouth due to failure to follow the principles of personal hygiene.

Caries most often affects children and adolescents, although, in reality, the disease can affect people of any age, even infants.

That is why it is very important to take care of your dental health from an early age. If this is not done, then over time the poor condition of the teeth can lead to severe pain, deterioration of the structure of nerves and blood vessels, the development of an infectious process in the oral cavity, and even tooth loss.

The main causes of caries

Caries is formed as a result of long-term accumulation of plaque on the enamel, which protects the outer surface of the teeth. Plaque is a substance made up of small pieces of food and bacteria that live in the mouth. If you do not deal with a plaque in time, it will turn into tartar.

Acids released from plaque demineralize hard enamel on the tooth surface. The resulting erosion leads to the formation of holes in the teeth, ie caries.

Thus bacteria and acids penetrate into the dentin (mineralized tooth tissue). This causes severe damage to the teeth and makes them very vulnerable and fragile.

In this case, only a timely visit to the doctor and regular care of oral hygiene can protect you from tooth loss.

If the infectious process is delayed, harmful bacteria will enter the tooth. As a result, nerves and blood vessels are severely damaged, thus leading to the complete destruction of teeth.

Risk factors for caries

Unfortunately, there are many harmful factors that can cause tooth decay. Most people come into contact with them almost every day:

foods high in sugar and starch;

carbonated sweet drinks;

improper or irregular brushing of teeth;

fluoride deficiency;

constant dry mouth;

gastric reflux;

tobacco abuse;

improper nutrition.

The main symptoms of caries

In fact, medical treatment of caries can be different, because it all depends on the severity of the disease and the location of the affected tooth. Note that in the initial stages of caries occurs without visible symptoms.

If you do not notice caries in the early stages, you may experience the following unpleasant symptoms of this dental disease:

the sudden toothache that occurs for no apparent reason;

excessive sensitivity of the teeth;

toothache after cold, hot or sweet food;

the appearance of noticeable holes in the teeth;

formation of black, brown or yellowish spots on the surface of the teeth;

pain when eating or chewing food;

bad breath.

Complications as a result of improper or untimely treatment of caries

If caries is not treated in time, it can lead to serious complications. Here are some of the most common complications that can occur as a result of the untimely provision of qualified medical care:

Dental abscess (flux);

Severe toothache;

Inflammatory process and purulent discharge around the affected teeth;

Excessive fragility and sensitivity of the teeth;

Loose tooth;

Discomfort when chewing food.

From a young age, we all got used to the fact that brushing your teeth is part of the daily ritual of personal care. However, sometimes we are not sufficiently responsible for its organization, not paying attention, for example, to the choice of toothpaste. But it must be selected individually. In this article, we will tell you how to do it.

Clean and treat

Among the most common problems that modern people face are the following:

tooth sensitivity;

enamel darkening, color coating;

caries;

the tendency to gum disease.

Each of these problems requires the obligatory intervention of a dentist – professional oral hygiene, treatment with antibacterial compounds, coating of teeth with special enamel strengthening agents, and, of course, timely treatment of dental caries help to avoid complications. But in each of these cases, the choice of home care products plays an important role. So:

If the teeth react painfully to hot or cold food, they “break”, then their type is sensitive. A special paste for sensitive teeth is suitable for you, it will strengthen the vulnerable enamel due to the content of potassium and strontium salts.

It happens that a person has strong enamel, but dark. In this case, bleaching paste is suitable. You can use it 1-2 times a week (more often than not, the enamel will suffer). The most powerful formulations contain hydrogen peroxide or carbamide peroxide, but you can only use these products with healthy teeth.

An inflammation has developed in your oral cavity, there are wounds on the gums or stomatitis aphthae. An antibacterial paste is right for you. Gentle antiseptic agents have shown themselves to be the best: they not only cope well with pathogenic microbes but also help relieve irritation and inflammation of the gums. The composition often includes extracts of medicinal plants: sage, calendula, yarrow, chamomile.

Pastes belonging to the type of anti-carious, contain mainly derivatives of fluorine and calcium. Fluorine is used to “heal” tooth enamel (it is able to close microcracks, preventing the development of a carious process). The content of this substance should not be too high: no more than 150 mg per 100 g of paste for adults and 50 mg per 100 g of children. Fluoride is contraindicated for some people – consult your doctor!

For special occasions

Dental hygiene with a braces system becomes more difficult when additional factors are present: for example if you have a braces system installed or you wear removable dentures. Children’s age also imposes special requirements – after all, the tooth enamel of babies differs from the tissues of adults.

Toothpaste for children should have a gentle composition, for example, based on dicalcium phosphate or silicon dioxide. The fluorine content should not exceed 0.025%. Many dentists do not recommend the use of fluoride in children under three years of age. Recommended RDA – no higher than 50.

If you wear braces, special attention should be paid to brushing your teeth. In addition to the standard brush and thread, you should also buy a special brush – with its help it is easier to get rid of food fragments in hard-to-reach places. Hygiene products are best chosen with high fluoride content, as orthodontic treatment makes teeth more vulnerable to caries.

If you wear dentures, do not forget to clean them regularly. Toothpaste is best chosen with mild action. Compounds with an abrasive effect should be avoided: they can scratch the surface of the prosthesis.

In addition to paste, they used special gels and rinses to care for the oral cavity.

It may appear spontaneously, it may persist for many days without some respite or periodically. It happens that it is very annoying or its initially low intensity increases with time.

This can be caused by many factors, including tooth decay, inflammation of the tooth pulp or tissue surrounding the root, exposure of the necks of the teeth, and much more.

Teeth hypersensitivity to temperature changes

Especially in cold weather, this is one of the most frequent complaints of patients. This is manifested in a sudden severe pain, located in some teeth, which appears on contact with a specific stimulus (for example, cold water) and stops after its termination. Teeth can be sensitive not only to changes in temperature, but also to sour drinks and food, as well as to mechanical factors, such as brushing or even touching. A healthy tooth is surrounded by a strong and durable enamel on the outside, which tightly covers and isolates deeper and more delicate dentin. The ducts are located in the dentin, the external factors of which can reach the pulp – the living part of the tooth, which is responsible for receiving stimuli and a painful reaction. The most commonly detected dentin is located on the neck of the tooth, because in this area the enamel layer has a small thickness. Dentin exposure occurs as a result of abrasion of the enamel layer during excessive brushing, especially when using a hard brush or whitening paste containing abrasive particles. Dentin is also found in people with periodontal disease, commonly called periodontal disease. Regardless of the cause, the best treatment is the use of mouth rinses and mouth rinses designed for sensitive teeth, and their delicate and gentle brushing.

Tooth decay

This is a disease of hard tooth tissues, the development of which is promoted by the presence of microorganisms, a diet rich in carbohydrates, and the tooth’s sensitivity to scale removal. These factors should work long enough. The pain associated with caries, occurs after consuming sweets and disappears after the cessation of this stimulus. In this situation, you should as soon as possible inform the dentist, who will remove cariously modified dental tissue and put on a seal. In turn, untreated caries can lead to inflammation of the dental pulp. This is manifested in severe pain that occurs spontaneously, and not only as a result of external factors. There may be short breaks, but usually the pain does not go away, staying the same at night. This is often hard to find. In this case, it is usually necessary to treat root canals, which consists in removing living tissue from the cavity of the tooth and root canals, thorough disinfection and filling. This is a treatment that requires at least 2 or 3 visits to the dentist.

Teething

In adults, this problem concerns the eighth teeth, called wisdom teeth. In many cases, the teeth are incorrectly located or there is not enough space in the mouth, which makes removal difficult. Pain symptoms appear periodically and have variable intensity. In this case, a good idea would be to make a pantomographic picture that will allow you to decide to leave the G8 or delete them. To reduce discomfort, you can use antiseptic mouthwash on a special basis.

Mouth pain should not be directly related to the teeth, it can also be caused by inflammation of the gums. Gingivitis, in addition to swelling, redness and bleeding, is also characterized by pain. Due to its close position it can be difficult to distinguish from toothache. The most common cause is the accumulation of plaque, so the most important method for the prevention of gingivitis is a thorough cleaning of the teeth. This is sometimes caused by mechanical irritation, so check with flossing or nothing between the teeth. To relieve pain, you can use drugs available in the pharmacy without a prescription. It is also worth going to the dentist for other reasons.

Image credit: StockSnap

Tooth decay is the most common dental problem that occurs due to malnutrition and poor oral hygiene.

The lack of vitamins and minerals during the development of teeth affects the formation and they become more prone to tooth decay, so maintaining good oral hygiene plays an important role in preventing caries.

After each meal, it is advisable to brush your teeth or remove the rest of the food with floss and rinse your mouth. Danger to teeth has a high sugar content in foods, especially harmful sweets of sticky consistency – toffee, caramel and, long in the mouth, candies. Some microorganisms, such as Streptococcus and Lactobacillus, which are in our saliva, absorb the sugar left after eating on the surface of the teeth, and produce an acid that corrodes the enamel of the teeth.

What adversely affects the teeth:

1) Carbonated drinks.

Carbonated drinks include acids that adversely affect the enamel of the tooth, and a large amount of sugar, which also contributes to caries. The sodas contained in carbonated beverages can cause many diseases. Slightly reduce the harmful effects of drinks on the teeth can be if you drink through a straw.

2) Hard things.

The snacking of solid foods, for example left in a glass with a drink of ice or hard candies can cause cracks in the teeth, and they contribute to serious dental problems. If you need something to chew, it is good for health to chew on carrots.

3) Teeth as tools.

Many people manage to use their teeth to solve domestic problems: open bottles, packets and straighten the teeth of the plug, etc. Such actions lead not only to the formation of cracks, but also to more serious damage to the teeth.

4) Bruxism or gnashing of teeth in a dream.

Bruxism leads to damage to the enamel and teeth become more sensitive and prone to the formation of caries. There are many factors contributing to the grinding of the teeth: gastrointestinal tract, hereditary predisposition, stress, anxiety, stimulant, alcohol, tobacco use, the consequence of an incorrect bite, and also may be one of the symptoms of neuromuscular disease. In addition to the necessary treatment (in each case it has its own), in addition to calming the masticatory muscles, magnesium, calcium and B vitamins are used.

5) Toothbrush.

Many people think that the toothbrush with hard bristles is better for cleaning, but it is not suitable for everyone. Those who have a gum and tooth roots are exposed, making them sensitive, hard toothbrush can easily remove the cement, which is covered with the root of the tooth. A rigid brush is just as easy to injure the gum. Change the brush every 3 months.

6) Cleaning the teeth.

An important role is played by oral hygiene: proper brushing of teeth, use of dental floss, elixirs for rinsing.

7) Teeth whitening.

This process can be very aggressive. There are many ways to whiten teeth, both professional and at home: pastes, gels, strips, kapy, etc. Some bleaches contain carbamide peroxide, in high concentrations which adversely affects the enamel of the teeth, and makes them porous. Whitening toothpastes, as a rule, consist of hard, abrasive elements, which leads to more harm, as it leads to thinning of the enamel. Some teeth whitening leads to increased sensitivity of the gums and teeth. So any bleaching agent can be considered harmful. To have a good color of teeth is possible and following natural measures: do not smoke, do not abuse caffeine and regularly brush your teeth.
