What adversely affects the teeth:

1) Carbonated drinks.

Carbonated drinks include acids that adversely affect the enamel of the tooth, and a large amount of sugar, which also contributes to caries. The sodas contained in carbonated beverages can cause many diseases. Slightly reduce the harmful effects of drinks on the teeth can be if you drink through a straw.

2) Hard things.

The snacking of solid foods, for example left in a glass with a drink of ice or hard candies can cause cracks in the teeth, and they contribute to serious dental problems. If you need something to chew, it is good for health to chew on carrots.

3) Teeth as tools.

Many people manage to use their teeth to solve domestic problems: open bottles, packets and straighten the teeth of the plug, etc. Such actions lead not only to the formation of cracks, but also to more serious damage to the teeth.

4) Bruxism or gnashing of teeth in a dream.

Bruxism leads to damage to the enamel and teeth become more sensitive and prone to the formation of caries. There are many factors contributing to the grinding of the teeth: gastrointestinal tract, hereditary predisposition, stress, anxiety, stimulant, alcohol, tobacco use, the consequence of an incorrect bite, and also may be one of the symptoms of neuromuscular disease. 5) Toothbrush.

Many people think that the toothbrush with hard bristles is better for cleaning, but it is not suitable for everyone. 6) Cleaning the teeth.

7) Teeth whitening.

This process can be very aggressive. There are many ways to whiten teeth, both professional and at home: pastes, gels, strips, kapy, etc. Some bleaches contain carbamide peroxide, in high concentrations which adversely affects the enamel of the teeth, and makes them porous. Whitening toothpastes, as a rule, consist of hard, abrasive elements, which leads to more harm, as it leads to thinning of the enamel. Some teeth whitening leads to increased sensitivity of the gums and teeth. So any bleaching agent can be considered harmful. To have a good color of teeth is possible and following natural measures: do not smoke, do not abuse caffeine and regularly brush your teeth.
